Friday Favorites

 

So for my return to blogger I'm trying out some new linky parties and seeing which ones 

 I enjoy the most!  So today I'm linking up with Momfessionals for Friday Favorites!

   This week has been my Favorite because I've been home most of the week lol!

Its been an insanely busy few weeks, and since I just blogged about my summer recap, I realize its been a busy few months!  So it was SO nice to spend most of the week just spending time at home!  I got a lot of cleaning and organizing done- we had  lot of meals at home, and it was basically just a really enjoyable week in general!  

   The weather this week has been my favorite!  Today at 76 it is the warmest its been in two days and that's wonderful!  We haven't had the air on since yesterday and the mornings are dreamy!  We also have had open windows all day, Open windows are my favorite!

   Dixie (Our sweet Calico) agrees, she has been really enjoying sitting sleepily by the window all day!

Chickens are my favorite!  We now have eleven sweet girls and a sweet Roo.  I'm so happy with our little flock!  We're working on upgrading the coop, and I'm excited to see how it turns out!  We have had three of our chickens for two years now, and the newer ones are already on laying feed!  They are a delight to us!  

My girl had an ear infection this week, so she wasn't feeling so great, but she felt good

enough to sit on the porch and cuddle with our silkie hens (Rose and Harleen)

Tomato basil soup is my favorite!  We add three cheese tortellini and parmesan to it, and its delicious!  Best served with a grilled cheese!  Next time I'll take better pics and share the recipe lol

My flowers are my favorite lol!  These were insane, I literally bought some seeds from the dollar tree to fill in some spaces that my lillies had left, and these beautiful flowers bloomed everywhere!  

I believe they are zinnias, but they are gorgeous!  And blooming still in October!  I'm excited to see next year how they turn out along with my lilies, I think they will be gorgeous in the spring! I'm really enjoying that they are adding some color to our barn and just popping out to say hello even though its very late in the year! 

I also love my new blog, I'm thankful I started it even though I was worried about starting from scratch, and I am enjoying getting to know some new friends as well as getting to know some old friends again as well!  Thanks for stopping by!  Send me your blog and I would love to follow!
