Blogtober day 5: Favorite seasonal cleaning products!

Hi friends!  We are tracking right along with Blogtober!  I am going to have to pre-post and schedule this post because we plan to be out of town on Sunday, but I didn't want to miss a day and wasn't sure I would get to write when I got back home, so I thought I would do a quick post on day 5 ahead of time and schedule it for Sunday :)  I think that's technically breaking the rules of Blogtober- but at least it will be a post each day, even if I don't write it on Sunday!

Being a homemaker, cleaning products are a big part of my life.  Across the board, I'm a big fan of Mrs. Meyers multi-purpose cleaners.  I also enjoy Method cleaner and this particular one is probably my favorite for my kitchen, but since we are talking about seasonal cleaners I will talk about Meyers!

*You can purchase Method at Lowes, and Meyers is available at most grocery stores as well as Target, a lot of the seasonal ones you can only find at Target and Amazon, but you can almost always find Meyers on the shelf anywhere nowadays!

Mrs. Meyers has been around awhile and is famous for their seasonal scents!  Nothing says spring like Daisy scents!  The Fall scents are some of my favorites!  Fall Leaves is hands down my favorite fall scent, it's the perfect blend of autumn!  However, Acorn spice is also really woodsy and smells amazing!  Apple Cider is my youngest son's favorite, as well as Bluebell.  While my older son prefers Clementine, since he's a fan of oranges!  My daughter loves the floral scents of Rose and Peony, as well as Lilac.  In the wintertime, we all like Snowdrop.  I'ts became such a staple in our home it makes us all feel like its almost Christmastime!
The fall scents are available in multi-purpose spray, hand soap and dish soap!  All of these are winners in my book!
For floor cleaning, I usually use Aunt Fannie's floor cleaner,  but today I saw an advertisement for Mr. Clean's Spice Harvest cleaner...  has anyone used this before?  I haven't used Mr. Clean in years, but its neat that they are adding fall scents!

For Vacuuming, I've always been a fan of using baking soda with some essential oils mixed in.  For fall, this Apple Pie essential oil makes my whole house smell AMAZING!  I add a few drops to some baking soda (In a mason jar) and sprinkle it on my carpets.  Not only does it help absorb carpet odors, with this oil it adds a beautiful fall fragrance to the air!  It's wonderful!!
I also added the Bath and Body works hand soap to my picture.  I don't buy a lot of their products, but I LOVE their handsoap!  Pumpkin apple is my favorite, but the cinnamon pumpkin is really good too!!!
And, as always I'm going to recommend the Pumpkin Waffles candle.  It's a walmart candle that I've bought for years, and its absolutely amazing!!!  There is also a single wick Strawberry Pumpkin candle I picked up at Target that is equally delightful!  Nothing sets off a clean house like a good scented candle!!!

So that's all for today!  What are some of your favorite seasonal cleaning products?

  1. I don't use seasonal cleaning products since we just use the same things year round; though I do like Method products too. I have smelled some of the Mrs. Meyers scents and while I do like them I just never think to pick any up.
